i needed to do something while waiting for pei yan's ppt slides that i have to present tmr for rosalind ho's tut. cant wait (sarcasm).

break week last week was just wat i needed. a therapeutic vacation with the family to trengganu was the hightlight of the long weekend.

my dad and i are waiting for my mom to pick out her kain. she's having an orgasmic moment choosing the designs.

she's in her element and there's no stopping her.

here we are at a beach called pantai batu burok. some rock must be so hideous that the locals decided to give such a name.

but the beach was not burok at all. in fact its my most favourite place in the world where i can just get away from the stressful life of being a city girl and reflect.

fried mars bars are every health conscious person nightmare. its calorie laden but it tastes too damn good.

first and foremost, i would like to say that it feels damn good turning 21.
its a very major point in one's life.
i feel liberated and somehow free and my level of maturity is, well, better. im still learning to get things right.

forget swensens bday cake. island creamery makes them better. reverse 'o' on first layer, cookies and cream on second and sponge cake on third. and plus im trying to get away from the cliche 'key' cakes.

there's nothing better than spending your birthday with the people you love most in the world.

thanks ma&pa for the most wonderful birthday present EVER!

last mon, we crashed over at wid's and cooked pasta and watched friends and lazed.

the pasta we made ourselves. it turned out very well because we were f&n students.

this season its all about being flirty. spring/summer=flirty, floral, dresses.

i owned a few already and i intend to get a few more. meanwhile i love some of these.

;P as borat would say "happy times".

me and the girls (and by girls i meant rad, raud and wid) went to watch the exciting soccer game between sg and th (click for pics). it was a whole different environment. both men and women regardless of age screaming and shouting and cursing and dancing and cheering and jeering. we weren't taken back. as a matter of fact we joined with screams like REFEREE KAYU and BUTO. middle fingers were everywhere. little kids with curious faces looked at their emotional charged parents with confusion.
super super fun.
tonight's the 2nd leg. sure controversial.
