the most anticipated week is finally here. and it began right after foo siew loong said 'ok you can go now'.



so for this week i have all my plans panned out. im only going to spend an hour or two on my projects and presentations and the rest to lepak and do nothing and go out and watch movies and kl which is in two days time.

i've decided to take part in what seem to be the only thing that is helping me pass my time. thanks anur.

i stayed home the whole day together because its sunday (lazy day) and the weather was so damn hot. i was sweating bullets. so anyway my dad got us dvds and one of them was benchwarmers. i didnt watch it at the theater because i though it wasnt worth my money.
but i ended up laughing my head off. its one of those senseless underdog stories. beasically it was brainless and there weren't must analyze needed. benchwarmers is hilarious and im still glad i waited for my dad to get it.

my parents were watching the national day speech a few hours ago and the pm was applauding and giving recognition to those who made singapore proud. and i had no absolute idea that nyp took part in what he said was 'robo soccer' in germany this year. and this was the absolute shocker, champions for 3 consecutive years. i had no freaking idea. part of me is saying 'wow. nyp gerek sak'. the other part is saying 'does that mean i came from a nerd school?'. oh hell anyway it has nothing to do with me.

a week to sch and here comes break week.

this happened while i was having my dinner when the parade was about to start. rara and myself (esp me) were feeling a little excited for some reason i dont know. but it was kinda cool because we had a sneak peek of the backstage. see whats all the commotion and excitement.

cue was given to march their ass to the field.

this is just a mockery of how tired we felt. but seriously it was damn tiring.


the stadium after the show. later on as some would have already read on the papers, an army guy proposed to his girlfriend and obviously she said yes. this guy must have really sucked up to his officers because frankly speaking i dont think its that easy to pull off something big like that.
(the proposal reminded me of friends when mike was proposing to phoebe and she thought it was tacky and lame.)

i just uploaded the sounds second album which is fantastic, i also downloaded gym class heroes and they're not all that bad. a mix of rock and hip hop. pharrell's in my mind cd. some bossa nova when i feel like relaxing. some of my sister, nila stuff as well.
basically there's a mix of mainstream and some underground bands and hippity hop and different genres. one thing i'll never allow are music that my sister, amirah listens to. no fucking high school musical soundtrack in my ipod!
