my cny weekend was spent at kuala terengganu.
it was the perfect getaway.
a getaway from the hectic city life to the simple east coast holiday.
we stayed at primula hotel which overlooked the vast blue carpet of the south china sea.
of course pictures were taken but im too tired to post them right now. so i'll be uploading soon enough for viewing pleasure. meanwhile i online manage to upload these few just to see what i was up to (and of course a little sneak preview of the rest).

the actual plan was to reach home today around this time (2330hrs) but we couldnt get a decent place to bunk in so we reached home at 3am this morning.
and as usual we stuck in the traffic jam for 2 hrs in malaysia alone. but it was one of the best because my car was side by side witht this white opel car which was controlled by this so good looking malay guy.

in the afternoon maksu suggested that we hang around orchard cos tangs was having a sale and she wanted to have a look.
we ended spending half of our time (and most of our spending expenditure of the day) at topshop and forever 21. and not forgetting we caught the sneak preview of fun with dick and jane. we guessed it would be a disappointment because of jim carrey but on the contrary it was not.
but the real letdown was i couldnt get my hands on loop nyc's oc 1849 red clutch which i have been eyeing and thinking of getting for weeks


no brokeback mountain for me.

i'm a huge fan of 'the police academy' chronicles.
so i was ecstatic when i found the dvd was on sale.

just like 'naked gun', 'police academy' doesn't make sense but i love watching it since i was a kid. thanks to my dad.
hope to get the rest of the dvd soon.

open house is this thurs and the ppl i know who are involved are hard at work setting up their booths and all that nonsense.
this is a little odd for me to post but i saw the cutest guy today on my way to to sch.
so so so cute.
im not sure which heritage/race he belongs to but i liked what i saw.

today school begins at 3 for me so i had time to watch the golden globe awards at the comfort of my living room.
there are so many movies i want to watch the next few months.
there's memoirs of a geisha, the producers(hooray cos will ferrell is in it), walk the line, brokeback mountain(jake gyllenhaal+heath ledger=good lookin' gay cowboys), munich, undiscovered, the fog, match point, fun with dick and jane, superman, x men3 and i bet there are many more that i cant think of right now.
this year my money will be spent on movies; not on clothes but its too soon to say anything.

anyway i was gg through this anonymous girl's blog and she was ranting about minas denying that their minas and something about stop judging and shit like that.
i thought it was interesting but all i can say is lets just leave this ppl alone. because at the end of the day they're who they are and saying anything won't change.
unfortunately they're part of the singapore society but lets face it without them there's nothing to talk about right?

i was full of ideas and inspiration on what i should say in tonight's entry.
all of a sudden, i do not know what i should type.

lets pick up from the last entry.
so i did go out on wednesday. i completely forgot that me and rad watched the family stone, which was not as i expected.
as i watched the trailer a few weeks back, it directed me towards the romantic-comedy-family christmas flick genre but i was entirely wrong.
i understand the movie by watching it but i didn't understand the message behind it.
aniwaes dear radiyah introduced to me this cheese salsa thing at long john's silver and i am now in love with it.
so in love with it that i want to put the cheese on everything.

nothing much happened on thursday though.
although that day was the first time i reached home before 8. ever since school resumed.

on friday i brought the cam to sch and i'll show you the ppl i most hang out with.

later that evening the three of us

decided that we want to have dinner over at mak's place. the food of course was consistently good. the downside was the group of over 40 year old makciks who were making a racket about a fan. they looked like a grp of avon or tupperware groupies.

and today my parents decided to go to melaka with nyayi and bibik and om nasir.
and i had plans to watch elizabeth town with...
...anur.
after watching elizabethtown, i have concluded that orlando bloom should stop with the american accent and just stick to sword fighting genres. read this: he was not convincing at all.
although i might add, i think kirsten dunst was a real charmer in this one.
so after the movie and chowing, we went window shopping. we had to because the both of us had already bought a tee each at forever 21 and we were on a tight budget.
eventhough the sales were tempting us, especially me.
further walking, we headed down to hmv and i got my most prized item of the day

i couldnt help it because it was selling for 5 bucks.
judge me if you will. they're coming to singapore and i need to remember those kentalan days.
at the end of the day, nothing soothes me better than a venti caramel frapp shared between 2 ppl.

this pair are rascals but they've brought some laughter to our lives.
something i found out about this two today, they're the 13th and 14th baby borned in 1999 respectively.
anyway at nyayi's, we watched pontianak: harum sundal malam II. or as nila would translate pontianak: fragrant nocturnal slut II.
some scenes were hilarious. some scared the shit out of me.

im semi-prepared for school tmr.
first day of yr2sem2.
ive ironed the clothes but ive not packed the books and all that nonsense.
im not sure if i should feel excited or happy or sad or disappointed.
school is school. its subjective.

i lost something most valuable to me.
my ticket to shopping sprees.
so i got to get a new one tmr before sch.
an unnecessary errand i might add.

i have another 1 hr to project runway and grey's anatomy.
and i so eexxxccciiiitttteeeddd about that.
